All Summer Long

Suit shopping day and it was smiles all round ?

Started off at Bold Street Coffee and had the Guatemala filter coffee (in honour of Gav) with a pastry. Mike opted for a classic tea ?

Mike and Paul were both in good spirits and to top it off, were both dressed extremely similarly in teal coloured jumpers, shirts, dark jeans and black loafers. I couldn’t stop laughing ? 

We started off at Moss Bros and Paul and Mike were both a bit nervous but we had to just go for it. All the suits were really lovely in there and the staff were very helpful. We felt that that was the warm up though and off we went to Debenhams. Again, the suits were lovely but none of them screamed out Groom to us. Plus, we soon realised that buying the same suit for 2 people who are built completely differently wasn’t going to be easy!

We then decided to head to John Lewis. Some of the prices were through the roof but we found a gorgeous one which seemed to fit really nicely and it got us thinking about which suits were looking good and which ones weren’t.

After a couple more shops though, it became clear to us that we didn’t really know what sizes were best or how a suit should even fit so we decided to head back to Moss Bros for help. So glad we did! The staff remembered us from earlier on and were on hand straight away to give guidance. The shop was quite busy as well but we always felt we were being looked after. The suit that Paul and Mike tried was one of the first ones that we saw and loved. The guy helped them with their sizes and gave his opinions and once they had them on, it was clear that they were the suits. Don’t want to give anything away but they look really smart, stylish and as my Dad would say, “They really look the part!” And most importantly, I get to marry Paul looking extremely dapper ?

Celebrations all round then with all you can eat pizza and wine at Santa Maluco. It’s just a really chilled out place where we were happy to relax and get excited about the big day! 

That’s another big tick off our to do list! Yay!!!
