We really loved it in Wanaka. The weather had picked up and the lake was just stunning! It actually reminded us a little bit of Derwentwater 😀
We did a couple of different lakeside walks which gave us gorgeous views of the various peaks around. We also went to a vineyard called Rippon and did a little wine tasting where we pretended to know more about wine other than getting ‘the bottle that’s on special offer’. After much debate, we opted to buy the Reisling as it was totally delicious!
We watched the sunset over the lake which was wonderfully romantic and just had an all round great (and relaxed) time here. Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re ever in the country!
