On Thursday we took a cable car to the top of Bob’s Peak in Queenstown. Looking up at the cliff was nauseating enough, but it’s extra discomforting when the path to the steepest gondola in the southern hemisphere walks you through a graveyard.
Anyway, it was fine and we’re glad we did it, because there’s a copy of American Gothic made from jelly beans at the top. And there’s an epic view. We used our favourite limbs to do the Skyline Loop while we were up there, but we may as well have been on a mudslide. The end of the trail was cordoned off and we had to pass through a construction site.
Did you see a flock of Keas wairing high viz jackets and hard hats on the construction site ?? ?Xx
